ith this volume dedicated to the Art Cities and historic centres, the series of publications entitled
"Treasures of Veneto" makes another important addition to
what is already a long chain. Thus a new metaphorical " ducat" emerges from the treasure chest of our land for the public's enjoyment, allowing the visitor to appreciate well-known, and less well-known aspects of veneto history, art and traditions from its remotest proto-historic origins.

The guide provides the visitor with a source of knowledge aiming to make him understand, rather than merely describe, the wealth of our lands and waters, on which the millenary seal of St Mark has been indelibly impressed. Vissza
