This booi< really does contain 1,000 blocks for making patchwork quilts. Many are familiar old favourites; others are not so well known. All are shown as diagrams, including measurements and a key to outline the constituent parts of each. Templates allow you to make a block of any size to suit your requirements. Tips to help you estimate fabric requirements are also included. There are hints for enlarging and reducing patterns, and many examples of setting patterns, which use the same blocks in different combinations to produce a greater variety of patterns.
WOO Great Quilt Blocks is divided into sections according to type of block: four-patch, five-patch, seven-patch, nine-patch, mosaic, strips, curves, baskets, pictorial blocks, letters and numbers.
