Jesse Stuart's first story appeared in print in 1934. Five collections of his stories have appeared in book form and some have been included in both the O'Brien and O. Henry short story anthologies. Mr. Stuart has also been published in such leading national magazines as The Atlantic Monthly, The Yale Review, Harper's and The New Republic.
