The programmed units to accompanyModern Course in Business English are intended for self-study. Each programme takes the most important grammar pattern from each unit of the course and practises it in a detailed step-by-step way so that it is thoroughly learned. At the beginning and the end of each, programme there is a test which the student can use to measure his progress.
The programmes are based very closely on the Class Texts for each unit of the course. By working through the programme carefully, the student can prepare himself in detail for work in class with his teacher, and for study with the course tapes or cassettes.
The programmes should be particularly useful for the student who is revising his English after a period of time. Each step follows easily from the one before, and for someone whose English is a bit 'rusty', this is a comfortable way to revise.
