Albena Bakratcheva is Professor of American Literature at New Bulgarian University, Sofia, Bulgaria. She is member of The Thoreau Society U.S.A. and Executive Council member of the International American Studies Association (IASA). Her work includes: Similarities in Divergences (1995), Potentialities of Discourse (1997), Visibility Beyond the Visible (Bulg., 2007), The Call of the Green (2009).
