Sherman Hines is an award-winning photographer with an international reputation.
Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, he was educated at the Brooks Institute of Photography in California, and holds master's degrees from both the Canadian and American Associations of Professional Photographers. In 1980, Hines received a fellowship in the American Society of Photographers. He is only the second Canadian so honoured.
