America 24/7 is an epic project that harnessed the talents of thousands of photographers — professional and amateur — across the United States of America. The America 24/7 project asked Americans to tell their own stories in digital pictures who they are, what they care about, where they work, what their families and communities are like and what they do every day. America answered with more than a million photographs. From these, we create a fascinating, behind-the-scenes glimpse of life across every state.
This special abridged edition of America 24/y is a gift from the people of the United States. We hope that it provides an honest look at how Americans see their own country, communities, homes, families and values.
Praise for the America 24/7 Project
"Mr. Smolan and Mr. Cohen, who are perhaps best known for creating the Day in the Life series of photography books, have come up with an ambitious 21st-century version called America 24/7."
