Kőszeg - alsó known as the „Baroquepearl"- is one of Hungary'5 towns with the largest number of monuments and historical buildings to its credit. It had been the stronghold ofmedieval Europe and the idea of a multicultural United Europe was a reality here, whereby Hungárián, Croatian and Germán speaking inhabitants were living and working together in peace and perfect harmony for centuríes thus establishing a common prosperous future. This charming little town that survived the storms of history welcomes its guests today with distinguished hospitality.
