The words of the Psalm from the Book of the Books express the love which the members of the Reformed Church of Hungary are feeling for the House of the Lord and for the building that preserves the traditional community.
The Baroque art of the Counter-Reformation wanted make an impression with its magnificient effectiveness on the people. The ecclesti-astical art of the Reformed Church lets think and enjoy the men of our time with its nobel simplicity and quiet dignity, the believers of each religion like the atheists. The Reformed Church was often called the Hungarian religion in the territory of old Hungary, because its members were always coming from the Magyar population of the country where several nationalities lived together. The Reformed ecclesiastical art is a very characteristical part of the Hungarian tradition in the form of simple decorations of small village churches, in embroideries made with a lot of love for God or in tin vessels from "the silver of the poor men"....
