PEGGY HEWITT was born and bred in the Worth Valley, and has lived most of her life close to the Bronté moors. Several of her stories have featured on children's television and radio. She alsó runs a creative writing class. Although Peggy now lives in Rathmell, near Settle in North Yorkshire, her roots are deep in the peat soil of the Bronté moors.
