Canada, a vast and beautiful country, is almost impossible to describe. As one of her greatest prime ministers once said 'If other countries have too much history, we have too much geography.'
Here, in an unhurried way, the only way to appreciate this immense and varied country, we make a journey through colours and contrasts, from Atlantic to rugged Pacific coast.
We are ofTered a tantalising glimpse of remote, snow-clad crags, glittering cities, primitive forests of gigantic trees which seem to belong to another era, and brilliant blue lakes reflecting brilliant blue skies.
Captured here is an impression of the vast rolling landscape of the Prairies, and the sharply contrasting, bleak, yet mysterious and alluring Arctic.
There are about twenty-three million people scattered across this federation of disparate regions, their origins as diverse as their country; Americans and Europeans as well as Indians and Eskimos.
