Dr Sharmila Choudhury studied at the Edward Grey Institute for Field Ornithology, Oxford University. She worked for a number of years on the behaviour and ecology of wildfowl at the Wildfowl Et Wetlands Trust at Sllmbridge, and has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters on the behaviour of birds. Sharmila is currently based at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, where she works as a researcher.
Adam White has been a birdwatcher for most of his life. He studied zoology at the University of Nottingham, and afterwards worked on ornithological expeditions in South America. He has been involved with several parrot projects, including radio-tracking macaws to and from their roost site. Adam works as a researcher at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol.
