The king of Pataliputra had three sons. All of them were dull. The king was much worried about them. He expressed his anxiety before the wise men in his court.
There was a renouned pandit named Vishnusharma in his court. He was a man of wisdom. He accepted the challenge to educate the princes-to sharpen their intelligence.
Pandit Vishnusharma started telling them stories about birds and animals. These stories are the famous classic tales of The 'Panchatantra'.
Children have a great fascination of birds and animals. 12 stories of birds and animals are presented here in the form of comic-strips.
These tales of morality and cleverliness have been read for the last hundreds of years and shall be read for hundreds of years to come.
In the present syllabus of environmental study, this book will prove to be helpful to the students.
I hope children will relish these stories in a picture-story form.
