The fourth edition of F. E. Perry's clear and readable account of banking activities in Britain has been thoroughly updated to 1983. As well as taking account of developments in the banking world the book has been adapted to cover the new Elements of Banking course which has been restructured for the purposes of the Business and Technician Education Coimcil National Awards. It remains a reliable and comprehensive text for students and new entrants to the profession.
