Walt Disney came to Florida in the early 1960's, he was searching for more than a suitable site for a Theme Park. He was searching for a place to build dreams. Walt Disney himself envisioned the Florida project as a place "with enough land to hold all the ideas and plans we can possibly imagine." Today, the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort is a self contained "magical" world with an unusual and varied collection of gardens.
