Martin Heidegger is, by common consent, one of the most vigorous and original thinkers of the 20th century. And questions that directly concern the daily life of every man are what this philosopher deals with. An introduction to Heidegger's work for the general reader has long been needed, and in Heidegger's Philosophy, Magda King has provided one that simplifies without distorting, and that admirably conveys the sense of intellectual excitement and discovery that his work has aroused. The book thus gives the reader a way of using the English translations of Heidegger's work that are now becoming available.
