While I was working on this book, a few of my friends suggested that I nnightwantto mind my Ps and Qs; that I might want to tone down a few of the harsher facts about my past - but I just don't see the point in that. If you're gonna tell it, girl, tell it! I am who I am, and if somebody is going to judge me then I'd like them to judge me on the truth. I'd like them to decide whether or not they like me based on the facts, not on stones they've read in gossip magazines, or hearsay, or a watered-down version of events. I don't want to sugarcoat my story, and it would be impossible to do so.
