This monograph is the result of an effort by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) to provide guidelines for diagnosing and staging of most tumour sites and selected types of tumours.
Under the editorship of the Chairman of the UICC Programme on Detection and Diagnosis, this monograph presents a compilation of 19 chapters written by leading experts in the field of cancer around the world. Each chapter is devoted to the diagnosis and staging of a tumour site and
