John Cleese was born the only son of a solidly middle-class couple who lived in Weston-Super-Mare. Having grown to an extraordinary height before leaving school, he had learned from experience the delight of making people laugh. It was a talent that thrived as part of a unique and innovative team of comedic talent at university. By the beginning of the 1970s with Monty Python's Flying Circus, Cleese was setting new boundaries for humour around the world.
Several Monty Python f\[m roles have been Inter-laced with the groundbreaking and seminal Fawlty Towers sitcom series and the occasional Hollywood film, including a western {Silverado) and a pirate pic {Yellowbeard). Cleese also founded a successful video training company and co-wrote two Influential psychotherapy books. He became an international sex symbol as the star and writer of 4 Fish Called Wanda. This book is a fully illustrated appreciation of a rare, precious and uniquely English comic talent.
