Norman Munroe A resident of Pictou County, Norman Munroe developed an interest in photography as a student at Stellarton High School and continued to practice and refine his skill while attending Acadia University, until graduating with a degree in computer science in 1976. He then spent a year at Humber College in Toronto training in camera repair technology. Upon returning to Pictou County he obtained his commercial pilot's liscense and has since established a reputation for his aerial photography and scenic depictions of the people and places of northern Nova Scotia. His first book, Pictou County, received overwhelming support both locally and abroad prompting this, his second book.
