Countless interest groups ^ from governments and civil societies try to lobby the EU effectively, in order to get the 'honey and money' of desired legislation, subsidies and more. How they do this in daily practice is described here, based on research and evidence. Many lobby groups find their way on the work floors of the EU. However, some groups lobby more intelligently and prudently than others, and with greater success. Their more professional management of the EU arenas, their home front and the playing field forms the core of this book. Many real cases, smart practices and special issues of EU lobbying are cited.That EU lobbying has its limits and also contributes to democracy is finally discussed. The book provides food for reflection and action.
