Cambridge Certificate English Revised Edition
is a one-book course for students with a basic knowledge of English who are preparing for the new Cambridge First Certificate in English Exannination. It incorporates all the changes in the revised 1984 syllabus.
The course contains eight topic-based Units, each divided into two sections, Oral and ReadingA/Vriting, and built round a basic structure.
Teaching and practice material are given in the use of English, language and composition, and notional uses of English, covering both the language and techniques that students need for success in all five papers of the examination. Additional material has been included in each Unit to help the student become more fluent in English.
The course has been written for use either in class or by a student working on his own. Accompanying cassettes are available and answers are provided in a separate Key.
