Threading together commentary on various icons of contemporary society - Diana, the Spice Girls, the Teletubbies, Jerry Springer - Millennium Culture portrays Britain as an enchanted kingdom, an escapist dreamworld pervaded by the spirit of advertising and gripped by a desire for the sublime.
