Frank Mitchell, an outstanding Blessingway singer prominent in tribal affairs, records his religious and personal life, preserving a wealth of Navajo philosophy, ritual and history.
His narrative includes accounts of the early days as told to him by tribal leaders and recollections of his childhood and events that influenced his religious and political development.
