Dr. Klineberg, one of tJie world's leading social psychologists, is President of the International Union of Scientific Psychology and is the first American to hold a chair of psychology at the Sorbonne. He was the first chairman of the Social Psychology Department at Columbia, a position now held by Dr. Christie.
