The present book gives a detailed description of the various groups of pesticides in current use - insecticides, acaricides, nematocides, rodenticides, fungicides and herbicides. The usually complex organic syntheses are discussed in detail, together with the biochemical aspects of the effectiveness and mechanism of action of these chemical agents.
