The game was created by László Polgár. He studied philosophy -psyehopedagogy and wrote a doctoral (Ph.D.) thesis on chess pedagogy. After working as a teacher for fifteen years, he became full-time coach, manager and public relations officer to his daughters. He is a master coach, and writer and has published widely on chess tutoring.
It's a fascinating game!
