Great care has been taken to emphasize subjects not covered adequately elsewhere or not included in other readily available references. Topics such as interference problems in hard-wire telemetry systems and transducers as feedback devices in servo systems are discussed in considerable detail. On the other hand, information easily located elsewhere, radio telemetry systems and the like, is deliberately minimized or deleted. The book begins by summarizing basic electrical and mechanical effects, the operating principle of transducer design.
