RECONSTRIJCTIVE SURGERY OF RRA1M ARTERIES IMftkeaO fty F.T. The Conference of the Hungárián Neurosurgical Society was held in Balatonfüred, Hungary, between September 1 and 2, 1972. The lectures were centred around the latest developments in the pathology, physiology, diagnosis and the surgical management of vascular diseases of the brain. The importance of the subject was accentuated by the great number of distinguished representatives of this highly specialized field of neurosurgery from Hungary and abroad. The 33 communications of the Conference provide an excellent opportunity to survey the still existing problems and the progress made in vascular surgery. Five topics were discussed during the meeting: I. Extra- and intracranial anastomoses and régiónál cerebral blood flow measurements. II. Cerebral aneurysms. III.
