RICHARD DU TOIT grew up on a farm near Pietermaritzburg. He has a BSc Honours degree in Zoology and Entomology, but his increasing interest in wildlife photography developed into a professional career in 1995.
Richard is a self-taught freelance wildlife photographer, and travels widely throughout southern Africa to game reserves and wilderness areas to capture his magnificent images.
He is based in Johannesburg and has published images in South Africa and internationally in calendars, books and magazines. Richard has contributed to numerous books, including Africa's Big Five, Creatures of Habit. Images from a Timeless * Wilderness and the recent African Wildlife Themes and Catching the Moment. Vissza
