Five tests for the new Cambridge First Certificate in English
(Cambridge Level 3)
These five practice tests have been specially developed for the 1996 FCE Revision syllabus. The tests closely replicate the new examination in both content and layout, therefore providing effective and realistic exam practice.
• The authors are highly experienced and have been involved in the FCE Revision.
• Each of the texts in Paper 1 Reading and Paper 3 Use of English comes from a different authentic source, giving students experience in dealing with a variety of topics and formats, as in the real exam.
• Photocopiable answer sheets allow students to practise transferring their answers, reducing the risk of their making mistakes under exam pressure.
• Genuine exam conditions are simulated for Paper 4 Listening through the inclusion of instructions, pauses, tones and repeats on the cassettes.
