Richard Handscombe is an international management consultant, managing partner of Richard 8. Handscombe and Partner. A chartered engineer, he was previously Managing Director Northern Europe, for European and US consultancy companies. Business associations include partner in Management of Technology Partnership and founder member of European Management Strategy Advisers (EMSA). Previous publications include The Bankers Management Handbook (McGraw-Hill, 1976), and The Product Management Handbook (McGraw-Hill, 1989). He is a regular contributor to international conferences and journals.
Philip Norman is an international management consultant, managing partner of Philip A. Norman and Partner and partner in Management of Technology Partnership. A chartered engineer, he was formerly Head of Campus at Cranfield Institute of Technology and chairman of a number of Cranfield companies concerned with the commercial exploitation of advanced technology. During the last 20 years he has held chairman and chief executive posts in a wide range of significant high-technology companies in business sectors of strategic importance. He is a regular contributor to international conferences and journals.
