S. DROBNI AND F. INCZE SURGERY OF RECTAL CANCER The volume covers all the contemporary surgical aspects of rectal tumours. In the section devoted to aetiology and prevention the rules of conduct in rectal polyps are documented by personal observations. The four main types currently used by the authors are described in detail and their individual indication and merits are discussed. In addition to the classical sources, the surgical literature of the last five years is referred to. The volume is primarily intended for surgeons including urologists and gyneacologists, but in view of its special sections, it should be of interest alsó to physicians and generál practitioners.
