In Surface Appliqué for Quilting, Cottrell shows you a variety of ways to apply surface designs. By following her patterns, you'll be able to make a diverse assortment of stunning machine-stitched, hand-stitched, and no-sew projects.
With nature as inspiration, you'll learn how to create several projects, including Birds with Attitude, a set of three freestanding figures; Four Seasons Wall Hanging, which has a rough-cut, primitive look; and a Fish Mobile, a perfect
addition to a child's room. Colorful brads, silk ribbon, and buttons are just some of the distinctive details that make these designs special.
