Following the success of Look, Listen and Learn!, for younger children, and New Concept English, for older and adult students, L. G. Alexander has now developed his method and produced this new, audio-visual course specially designed to meet the needs and interests of young teenagers beginning their English studies.
TARGET provides in three stages a detailed and thorough coverage of the basic structures of everyday spoken and written English; Target 2 provides the second year's work. By the end of Target 2 students are able to read the first two stages of Longman Structural Readers, and to do the work in the first two stages of Longman Integrated Comprehension and Composition Series.
TARGET has introduced the new, four-page, two-lesson Unit and the 30 Units in each Pupils' Book are filled with lively illustrated dialogues, oral and written exercises, games, crosswords and songs for stimulating language learning.
