In 1996 Nick Danziger's black-and-white photographs, a number of which are reproduced in his third book Danziger's Britain (his account of a journey among the marginalized people of Great Britain), were the subject of an exhibition which started at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television at Bradford and which then toured the uk, going on to form the basis of the highly-praised Channel 4 series Postcards from the Edge. (Danziger's next series for Channel 4, The Fight for Hearts and Minds, •was nominated for the Grierson Award. In 1997 he was also inominated for Journalist of the Year by the Royal Television Society, |and for bafta awards. In 2000 he received the Ness Award from the !Royal Geographical Society.
