A comprehensive guide to drugs and medicines in current use throughout the world
This 26th edition represents five years' work by the Martindale editorial team, collecting, collating and presenting new information about both recently introduced and established drugs.
In this revision special emphasis has been placed on information about the unwanted and toxic effects of drugs, and about the precautions which should be observed before and during drug treatment, particularly when more than one drug is being administered at a time. Many more monographs now include a special section on the absorption of drugs and their fate in the body.
