From the papers given by some of the best specialists in their field, from over twenty countries, a vast panoramamic view of European theatre can be seen. The second part of this issue begins by taking into consideration the different relationships - fascination and attraction on the one hand and rejection on the other - which exist between the Actor, the Prince and the Spectator. These relationships have played and continue to play, an important role in defining what is at stake in the theatre.
