Refusing to resort to the opaque formulas of the experts, but also to indulge in simplifications, metaphors, or those "false friends," which are examples, Moshe Flato responds in simple and strong terms to that essential question: What is the nature of the power of mathematics?
About the Author
Moshe Flato is professor of mathematics at the University of Burgundy (Dijon) and has taught at numerous foreign universities, including Geneva, Kyoto, and UCLA. He presides over the Scientific Council of the UAP, which he created with Yvette Chassagne, and edits several international scientific journals, including Letters in Mathematical Physics, which he founded.
