Hermes
In 1916 E H Bailey put forward a method, derived from Egyptian sources, by which the
precise moment of conception could be calculated astrologically in order to discover the true ascendant degree. Despite its obvious value, however, astrologers have often found it difficult and frustrating to use.
Over the years a number of Dutch astrologers have reinterpreted and extended Bailey's material, making it much less compUcated. The validity of the system has been tested by the author in thousands of cases and, taken in
combination with the degree images, has provided fascinating insights into the lives of the subjects being studied.
The aim of this manual is to make the conception correction method accessible, lucid and workable in everyday astrological practice. A great deal of necessary background material is included, together with many examples drawn from the lives of well-known people.
