PPdI^ PEACOCK'S working life has been ^WE^Iy'associated with aviation in one form or another, beginning in 1964 with British European Airways and continuing until after the merger of the airline with the British Overseas Airways Corporation which saw the formation of British Airways.
Leaving the latter company in 1976, he chose to pursue a career as an aviation writer and photographer, specializing in contemporary military aviation. Today, his name is known around the world thanks to hundreds of articles and over 20 books which he has written. Among his recent works are "Strike Aces", "Aerial Firepower" and "Armored Firepower".
