You will learn about Trypillians, Scythians, Kyiv Rus\ the Cossack Republic, Little Russia, the Ukrainian SSR... Memories and ages of toil bear witness to material and cultural attainments of our ancestors. It was with great creative inspiration and selfless devotion that the authors and editors embarked on the task of tracing Ukraine's road, starting centuries ago and reaching the impetuous present day of Free Ukraine. Even as we began we decided that it would be something spe~ cial. Now we can only hope that we did just that... Eventually, you will turn the last page, and will turn your attention to other matters.
