Valentina Harris was born and educated in Rome. She was a pupil of the Scuola Di Alta Cucina Cordon Bleu and later taught Cordon Bleu cookery. While in Italy, she spent much of her time at her parents' summer home in Tuscany. She moved to London in 1976 and began to combine her love of cookery with a newly discovered talent for writing. Her first book, Perfect Pasta, was published in 1983. Her other books Regional Italian Cooking and Edible Italy reflect her deep love, knowledge and experience of Italy and its colourful national and regional cuisine.
Valentina lives with her two sons in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, returning to Italy as often as possible. Vissza
