ACCOUNT FOR TALENT - the title of the series is purposively ambiguous. It is an account for what has happened to the former state property, what values have been preserved in the assets of the Hungárián companies, or in their position in the World Markét or in the expertise of their employees the different generations could accumulate. It is alsó an account for what talent was made use of by the ones responsible for transferring state property into priváté property and in fact creating the basis of markét economy during the process of privatisation. The directors of the Hungárián Privatisation and State Holding Company requested the most outstanding researchers and excellent experts of various professions to make that account. Acting like a Maecenas to provide the required conditions, they shall not expect any apologetics from the authors.
