This monograph dedicated to prof. Kuncho Tzanev is the first complete presentation of this artist who has great influence on the development of Bulgárián woodcarving from the second half of 20th century. Kuncho Tzanev is a woodcarver with incomparable contribution for the evolution of woodcarving as a contemporary plastic and monumental art which consists furniture, 3 dimensional wood art works, monumental woodcarving and contemporary iconostasis. Many unfamiliar to the public art work from different artistic periods are revealed in the book. The shed light on the rich and various style and artistic achievements of Kuncho Tzanev. The monograph presents early wooden sculptures and decorative vessels created in the 60's of 20 century, furniture and wood carved ceilings with unique composition and one of a kind ornaments, invented by Kuncho Tzanev which help for the establishment of the woodcarving in the 70's of the 20th century.
