Gazs6's kaleidoscope of !mages takes in all of Venezuelan geography: Oriente, Guayana, Coracos« Center, Occident, Llanos, and Andes. There are many photographs, all different and all of incomparable beauty, all taken in "this wide land of 916,445 square kilometers" which "have borne the name of Venezuela since 1 501" when "Juan de La Coso used the denomination in his first map of America".
Beauty is always beauty, especially when exhibited by nature; but there is a precise, unique moment in which it reaches its greatest height, and a true photographer must capture that instant, the zenith of loveliness and put it on his "negative" as it flashes by his eyes. He has to trap beauty just as it is, with its polychromaticity, and with its lights and shadows, as if it were brute stone untouched by the hand of the sculptor. Das von Gazsó zusammengestellte Bilderkaleidoskop umfasst die gesamte Geographie Venezuelas: den Osten, Guayana, Caracas, das Mittelland, den Westen, die Tiefebenen - die Llanos - und die Anden. Es handelt sich um eine Vielfalt von Fotographien, alle verschieden und von einer unvergleichbaren Schönheit, alle "in diesem weiten Land von 916.445 Quadratkilometern Fläche, das seit 1501 den Namen Venezuela trägt, von dem Kartographen Juan de La Cosa in seiner ersten Landkarte Amerikas an diese Stelle gesetzt", aufgenommen.
Schönheit ist immer Schönheit, besonders wenn durch die Natur dargestellt; es gibt jedoch einen präzisen, einzigen Moment, in dem diese Schönheit ihren Höhepunkt erreicht, und der wahre Fotograf muss diesen Moment, diesen Zenit der Aesthetik erfassen um auf dem "Negativ" den erhabenen Anblick, der sich ihm bietet, festzuhalten. Er muss die Schönheit so wie sie ist einfangen, mit ihrer Farbenvielfalt und mit ihrem Licht- und Schattenspiel, als ob sie ein roher Stein wäre bevor der Bildhauer seine Hand anlegt. Gazsó hat diese Aufgabe in Vollkommenheit erfüllt: nach seinen eigenen Worten wollte er, "die optische Zusammenfassung eines Landes" erstellen. Er " versuchte, die Schönheit zu erheben, die Dinge in ihrer besten Form und, vielleicht, in ihrem besten Augenblick festzuhalten". Das ist ihm zweifelsohne gelungen.
