About the Author
Dr. von Zharen holds a dual appointment as graduate faculty for the College of Geosciences and Maritime Studies and College of Wildlife and Fisheries and is an associate professor of admiralty, corporate, and environmental law at Texas A&M University. She is a visiting professor of International Environmental Law in the Post-Graduate Law Program at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, and at Memorial University in Newfoundland, Canada.
