Which Way Western Man? begins with a recounting of author Simpson's experiences as a young and extraordinarily earnest Christian minister, and it leads the reader through the soul-searching which took the author out of the church, after he was forced to conclude that the teachings of today's Christian churches are neither in harmony with Western man's innermost nature nor relevant to his most pressing needs.
