Wilfred Beckerman has been Professor of Political Economy in the University of London and Head of the Department of Political Economy, University College London, since 1969. He was previously Fellow and Tutor in economics at Balliol College, Oxford, and the Economic Adviser to the Board of Trade 1967-69 (on leave from Balliol). He was a member of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution from its foundation in 1970 until 1973.
His major publications include The British Economy in 1975 (with associates), 1965; Introduction to National Income Analysis, 1968; The Labour Governmenf s Economic Record (editor and contributor), 1972; and numerous articles in academic journals. Vissza
