Volume Seven is the first in a series of volumes to be devoted to land-based aircraft employed during the Second World War for bombing, reconnaissance or army co-operation, irrespective of age or importance, as well as those aircraft that were being actively developed for such tasks by the various combatants during 1939-1945.
